The tradition is going on . . . 11th Trofeo Salamella in Mantova
On saturday March 25th, at the Migliaretto fields (Mantova) the 11th "Salamella Trofeo" tournament took place, organized by the Senatori Virgilian Old Rugby Club in collaboration with CSI Rugby Mantova and Rugby Mantova Srl.
The event under the aegis of EVRA - European Series and sponsored by the City of Mantova had achieved also this year the great success, appreciated by all participanting teams..
Even the weather gave the tournament a "spectacular treatment" with a beautiful sunny day.
Old Devils - Colorno, Old Becks - Reggio Emilia, I Passatelli Old Rugby - Ravenna, Old Rugby Pesaro and Crociati Anteriori - Trento were recognized formations, but at the field we were supported by the friends from Rugby Old Lagaria, Magna Orecchi Massa, Old Ruggers Treviso, Rugby Old Pagnacco, the Hyenas of Badia Polesine, the Ferrara sticks Horse . . . it
was the real "all Italian veterans meeting" . . .
Inevitable and available always as the friends, the referees Stefano Penna, Bianca Pedezzi and Federico Nugnes Cantona stood on our side on various occasions.
Irreplaceable and indispensable were Alberto Kecio Gazzoni, Massimo Grespi and Sandra Savi Berra. As always immensely helpful was our photographer and graphic "senatorial" Marco Donati (photos by his courtesy now at EVRA News).
