The Iberian veterans "marching" to Poland . . .
One of the EVRA founders and the Main sponsor José Redondo (Licor Beirao, Lousa) started the campaign for the European Festival 2017 in Siedlce (Poland).
With his rugby friends Paulo-Jorge Batista and the other RC Lousa veterans (already Festival participant) José approached traditional veteran teams Arcos de Valdevez, Bairrada Rugby Club, Coimbra RC and the Old Boys of Benfica RC, the biggest and the most traditional Portuguese rugby society.
Informing all them about the "way to Poland Festival" José Redondo and the friends had made the starting position for the successful participation of these Portuguese veterans at the European Festival.
Apart from RC Lousa vets also Galicia Old Boys (La Corunha), Portuguese "twin veteran partner", started making efforts that also Spain be more represented at this big European Event in September.
Veteran teams of Grey Lions (Lviv) Ukraine, Esztergom Vitezeki Vets (Esztergom) Hungary, I Fossili Dolomitici Old Rugby Club (Belluno) Italy confirmed their participation . . . the individual veteran rugby players from Bulgaria, Czech Republic, England, France, Greece, Irland, Romania, Scotland, Turkey are making plans to join this first ever European Festival in Poland too.
Ther same efforts are running by the Festival organisers WFS Siedlce Veterans and Polish Rugby Union to animate Polish veteran teams to join other Europeans.
For this purpose - the VII Polish Veteran Championships in Krakow (on June 3rd) is the best promotional opportunity . . .
